1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Watch Dealer Alerts mobile application and any related services (together, the “App”).
The App is owned and operated by BARRITEC LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 03636926) with its registered office at 12 Bunch Grove, Yateley, Hampshire, England, GU46 7BB (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Purpose of the App
The App is a professional networking and communication platform designed to enable verified luxury watch dealers to:
- Connect with other dealers
- Share availability, interest, and market information
- Communicate privately regarding potential transactions
The App does not facilitate, process, broker, escrow, or guarantee any transaction. All buying, selling, payments, shipping, and contractual arrangements occur entirely outside the App, at the users’ own discretion and risk.
3. Eligibility & Registration
To use the App, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be acting in a professional or commercial capacity
- Provide accurate registration information
- Complete identity verification to our satisfaction
We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including where verification cannot be completed or information is misleading.
4. Identity Verification
To maintain trust and integrity within the community, users must submit proof of identity and, where applicable, business credentials.
- Verification may be conducted by us or a third-party provider
- Submission does not guarantee approval
- We do not guarantee the authenticity or ongoing legitimacy of any verified user
5. User Conduct
You agree that you will not:
- Misrepresent watches, credentials, or availability
- Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful conduct
- Use the App for spam, solicitation, or non-professional purposes
- Attempt to bypass verification or security features
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
We reserve the right to investigate and take action against any breach, including account termination.
5A. Community Standards, Content Moderation & User Safety
Watch Dealer Alerts is intended solely for professional communication between verified watch dealers. We are committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment.
Prohibited Content and Behaviour
Users must not post, transmit, share, request, or otherwise distribute content that:
- Is abusive, threatening, harassing, intimidating, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory
- Contains obscene, offensive, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable material
- Promotes unlawful activities
- Contains fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive information
- Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
- Is spam, unsolicited promotional content, or disruptive communications
We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive users.
Reporting Objectionable Content
Users may report any content, message, profile, or activity they believe violates these Terms by using the in-app reporting tools.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and investigated promptly.
Blocking Users
Users may block other users through the App.
When a user is blocked:
- Communication between the users will cease immediately
- The blocked user’s content and messages will be removed from the reporting user’s view
- A moderation notification may be generated for review by Watch Dealer Alerts
Content Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Remove content that violates these Terms
- Restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate user accounts
- Refuse future access to the App
All reports of objectionable content will be reviewed within 24 hours of receipt. Where a violation is confirmed, offending content will be removed and the responsible user may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform.
Our moderation decisions are final.
User Responsibility
Users remain solely responsible for any content, messages, listings, communications, or information they submit through the App.
Watch Dealer Alerts does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.

6. No Transactions, No Liability
You acknowledge and agree that:
- The App is not a marketplace
- We are not a party to any transaction or agreement between users
- We do not verify watches, pricing, authenticity, condition, or delivery
- Any transaction entered into is done entirely at your own risk
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability arising from:
- Transactions or disputes between users
- Misrepresentation or fraud by other users
- Losses related to payment, shipping, customs, or taxation
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including branding, software, design, and content (excluding user-generated content), belong to BARRITEC LIMITED.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if:
- You breach these Terms
- We suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Continued access may pose a risk to other users or the platform
- You post objectionable, abusive, offensive, unlawful, or prohibited content
- You are reported for conduct that breaches our Community Standards
- You use the App in a way that threatens the safety, security, or experience of other users
- We determine that your continued participation is not in the best interests of the community
You may terminate your account at any time via the App or by contacting support at info@watchdealeralerts.com.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- Accuracy of user information
- Availability or performance of the App
- Outcomes of any connections or communications
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BARRITEC LIMITED shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or economic losses
- Loss of profits, data, reputation, or business opportunity
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) to use the App in the preceding 12 months.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
